The Prince of PR

Do not be fooled by the title of this blog.  Aside from the knowledge I have attained in my years of education as a public relations student, my knowledge of PR hardly distinguishes me as deserving of the title: Prince.  Nonetheless, I decided I would name this space I have created after a goal that I hope to achieve one day.

My name is Ben Pearcy and I see no limits to what a person can achieve as long as they are passionate.  I am passionate about creating messages and asking questions.  My mother tells me when I was a child my favorite thing to say was, "Why?".  Reflecting on it, I am not surprised that it is still my favorite thing to say.  Questioning something is the best way to learn about it.  In this blog, expect there to be a lot of questions and therefore plenty of opportunities for YOU to comment.

I find myself in a bit of a conundrum for as much as I enjoy questioning, I utterly detest researching.  I have accepted it as one the necessary evils of learning.  Still, my drive to understand far outweighs my detestation of researching.  I am hoping it is just a phase, like the relationship between many children and their vegetables.  Hopefully, as I continue to grow and understand the field, I will learn to love research.

In this blog, I will ask questions and attempt to find answers to the best of my ability.  I would love you, the reader, to comment on my findings and questions so that I can continue to expand my horizons!  I will also post anything I find interesting related to the PR field.  Feel free to contact me anytime.
